Below we cover some of the frequently asked questions about what happens when you start adventuring with us!

A: RSVP directly on the app. It will prompt you to pay through the app with a credit or debit card. You’ll receive an automatic e-ticket on your app for that adventure. Yay!
A: Yes. It’s built on Stripe, which is the largest payment processor in the world (and the safest). When you add a credit or debit card to your account on the app, Stripe encrypts and protects all the information and stores it for you for future purchases (like Amazon does). After that, it’s a one-click purchase every time you want to adventure. How easy, right?
Q: Can I add the adventure to my calendar via the app?
A: Yes! Just open that adventure and click on the icon that says “Add to Calendar”. Easy.
Q: Can I ask questions before the adventure?
A: Yes. When you purchase your e-ticket, a chat will open inside that adventure (visible only to those who have RSVPed), so you can chat with other families going on the adventure, including the leader.
Q: Leading up to the adventure, will I receive any reminders?
A: Yes. The day before, you will get a push notification sent to your phone to remind you of the adventure coming up, then another one an hour before the adventure starts. This helps us all remember! Make sure to allow push messages from the Adventure Clubs App.
Q: When I arrive at the adventure, what will happen?
A: The Adventure Leader or Host will greet you and your family by name, and check you off her RSVP list. Then the host company will check your e-ticket and invite you into the adventure space. When everyone has arrived, you’ll be part of an introduction experience before starting the adventure. A short explanation will take place so everyone knows what’s going to happen on the adventure before being guided through the adventure.
Q: When the adventure is over, what then?
A: The Adventure Leader or Host will wrap things up and make sure everyone has their things and knows what to tag when posting photos or videos of the adventure to social media (if desired). There also may be some back and forth on the chat group after that to keep in touch or share thoughts (always fun!) Sometimes the families will decide to go somewhere nearby for coffee or a quick bite together.
Q: Are photos of the adventure shared on social media?
A: Yes, many moms and dads at the adventure will be taking photos of their child having the experience. Often these shots include other children or parents in them. We might also have an Adventure Clubs photographer there. We love when families take photos and post them to social media! Our hashtag is #adventureclubs and our tag on Facebook is: @adventureclubsapp. On Instagram, tag us with @adventureclubsofficial.
Q: Is there a way to share an adventure with my friends who might be interested in attending?
A: Yes! There is a “share” button on the app which will be your best friend. You can share to Facebook, Twitter, text message, Whatsapp, Groupme, email, etc.
Q: What if something happens and I can’t make an adventure I have paid for?
A: Adventure Clubs is built to be flexible for parents with young kids. You can cancel your booking by going to the adventure screen and tapping “Edit RSVP” then finding the words that say “Can’t Make It” up until an hour before the adventure begins (unless it locked early for purchasing supplies, but that would be noted on the adventure detail screen in the adventure description or things to remember section.)
